“The AIG has ordered a highpowered investigation into the matter to uncover the facts behind the allegation for an informed disciplinary measure to be taken.
“The zone will not tolerate any criminality among officers that are saddled with the responsibility of crime prevention and order maintenance.”
Five policemen who forcibly collected N3 million from a man last week are to be prosecuted.
