Shannon Anthony Michael Cross, 47, of Dunedin, shoplifting (wallet worth $60), Farmers, Dunedin, January 21; threatening to kill (told Probation officer he would kill his expartner, would ‘‘slash’’ a security officer, would bring a bomb to Corrections office and had a makeshift flamethrower in his backpack), Dunedin, February 13, 13 months’ imprisonment, reparation $60.
Sam Motuliki, 35, scaffolder, of Dunedin, breaching release conditions (associated with gang member), Dunedin, April 18; breaching protection order (accused expartner of hiding men in the house and cheating on him, yelled ‘‘angry slurs’’ at victim from outside the home), Dunedin, April 19, nine and ahalf months’ imprisonment.
Shian Joseph King, 31, deck hand, of Dunedin, receiving ($5000 power tools stolen in burglary, King pawned for $500), Dunedin, September 712, 200 hours’ community work, reparation $500.
Scott Brent Rissman, 34, of Dunedin, burglary (stole chips, pepper grinder and two Tshirts from student flat, later recovered by police), Dunedin, January 14, 100 hours’ community work, 12 months’ supervision.
Casey James Doull, 45, of Dunedin, possessing offensive weapon (knuckledusters in his car), Dowling St, Dunedin, February 26, 100 hours’ community work, 12 months’ supervision.

Bradford Peter Torbett, 40, of Dunedin, demanding with menaces, Mosgiel, February 2; drugdriving (methamphetamine highrisk level 50ng, defendant’s level 180ng; THC highrisk level 3ng, defendant’s level 3.4ng), careless driving, failing to stop, Roy Cres, February 16, four months’ community detention, 18 months’ intensive supervision, disqualified six months.
