Valletta Breakwater dominate National Easter Cup final

Valletta Breakwater won the Na‐ tional Easter Cup as they domi‐ nated their match against Ħamrun 147 A winning 11‐2.

As the score clearly indicates, the Ħamrun side had little chance against the Citizens who estab‐ lished a comfortabl­e advantage and continued to win frame after frame to win the encounter.

The team led by Adrian Camil‐ leri and Ismael Hatherly had the chance to lift the cup presented by Malta Blackball Federation president Philip Gatt.

Juve Birkirkara A win the Community Easter Trophy

Juve Birkirkara A won the Blackball Community Easter Tro‐ phy as they saw off Taċ‐Ċaċċu Qormi 11‐4 in the final played at Juventus Club Vero Amore in Birkirkara.

It was a game dominated by the Birkirkara outfit who establishe­d a 7‐0 lead and continued to win frame after frame.

For their part, the Qormi side managed to reduce the score four times but they could do little against the precision and consis‐ tency of their opponents.

Meanwhile, the Regional Easter Trophy final will be played tonight where PL Balzan face Hamrun 147 D.

Ħamrun 147 D win Regional Easter Trophy

Ħamrun 147 D won the Re‐ gional Easter Trophy organized by the Malta Blackball Federa‐ tion after defeating PL Balzan 11‐7.

The Ħamrun side controlled for long stretches of the match al‐ though the Balzan outfit always managed to pull some frames back to keep up with their oppo‐ nents.

In the end it was Neil Aquilina who potted the final black in the last frame to give the Easter Cup for Ħamrun 147 D.

Meanwhile tonight the most awaited final from the National Easter Cup between Ħamrun 147 A and Valletta Breakwater will be played at the Juventus Club Vero Amore in Birkirkara.
