John Paul Construction down in Rosslare Europort recently invited Station Mechanic Mick Nicholas and Launch Authority Tony Kehoe to give a basic water safety talk to their staff.
The Station was rewarded with a donation from JPC of €500 and a further €76.95 was raised from deposit refundable containers that had been collected by staff.
Thank you from the RNLI Rosslare Harbour who depend on donations in order to carry on the important work of saving lives at sea.
ROSSLARE EUROPORT
The redevelopment of Rosslare Europort by John Paul Construction on behalf of the Office of Public Works which was started last year is making great progress.
JPC, one of Ireland’s biggest building firms, will upgrade Terminal 7 and develop 35 buildings and about 120,000 sqm of concrete trailer parking space. They recently completed and opened up the new Freight Check-in facility in Rosslare Europort.
JPC is expecting to complete this project towards the end of next year.
RESOURCE CENTRE
The Recourse Centre in Rosslare Harbour is open 5 days a week. A friendly, local facility which welcomes everybody who might need help with form filling, typing, photocopying, laminating and maybe even some advice. There is also a vast selection of books which can be enjoyed in exchange for a small donation. Something for everybody.
