Graiguenam­anagh to host day of music and family fun

GRAIGUENAM­ANAGH is hosting a day filled with music and entertainm­ent which will rock you –courtesy of band Qween – on Saturday, August 17.

‘Graiguefes­t ‘24: A Day of Music and Fun for the Whole Family on the Banks of the River Barrow’ takes place from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. This open-air music festival promises to be a day of fantastic performanc­es, family-friendly activities, and the perfect summer atmosphere.

People will be treated to music from Qween, Europe’s premier Queen tribute band. Fans of Freddie Mercury and Queen’s iconic hits won’t want to miss their electrifyi­ng performanc­e. Also gracing the stage are Spring Break, who will transport the audience back to the 1980s with their energetic renditions of classic hits from the decade.

There will be performanc­es by Men in Black and DJ Aidan Mac as well.

“Graiguefes­t is more than just a music festival—it’s a celebratio­n for the entire family. Children under 12 can enjoy free admission when accompanie­d by an adult ticket holder, ensuring a fun and affordable day out for families. In addition to the stellar musical line-up, there will be a variety of food stalls to keep everyone entertaine­d throughout the day,” said two of the organisers, Martin O’Brien and Mijke Jansen.

Tickets are available now at www.gr8events.ie/graiguefes­t or can be purchased from the local GAA club. €10 of every ticket bought from the GAA will benefit Graiguenam­anagh GAA club.

Early bird tickets are €15 available for a limited time. Tickets on the day will cost €20.
