Friends fans will be able to buy the original furniture from Ross Geller’s flat in an auction of more than 100 pieces of the hit show’s memorabilia.

The sale includes several items from David Schwimmer’s character’s third apartment, including a brown mahogany chest of drawers and a round Moroccan-style ottoman, each of which are expected to sell for up to €650.

The auction’s big-ticket item, however, is a studio reproduction of the orange Central Perk sofa, with an estimated price of up to €2,700.

Other original pieces from Ross’s home include a pair of grey, metal bookends shaped like griffins and a ceramic phrenology bust which sat on his desk.

Meanwhile, those keen to wear a piece of TV history can bid on pieces of clothing that worn by all six of the main cast members in next month’s auction to mark the 30th anniversary of the show’s premiere.

Among the items listed is a striped jumper worn by Courteney Cox as Monica Geller in season nine, Rachel Green’s grey turtleneck worn by Jennifer Aniston in series seven, and a blue denim coat with a faux fur trim worn by Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay.

Other items of clothing, which are all estimated to fetch up to €1,350, include a teal cashmere buttoned jumper worn by the late Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing, Joey Tribbiani’s striped shirt and Ross Geller’s blue Ted Baker top.

Costumes worn by guest stars including Bruce Willis, Susan Sarandon, Winona Ryder and Paul Rudd are also featured in the Julien’s Auctions sale.

Eager fans can also bid on a replica of the Central Perk shop sign for an estimated €650.

The original blue bicycle used by Ross to teach his son Ben Geller how to cycle is also set to go on sale, along with studio-made reproductions of annotated scripts

The auction will take place online and in person in Los Angeles on Monday, September 23. (© Telegraph Media Group Ltd 2024)
