LIMERICK’S BIG DAY OUT
THE Big Day Out kicks off at TUS Gaelic Grounds Limerick tomorrow at 3pm.
The biggest stars of the nineties and noughties will perform, including Five, Cascada, N-Trance, Basshunter and D:Ream.
The show features multi-million record selling boyband Five on the main stage, hosted by Mark McCabe (right), who will absolutely be performing Maniac 2000! As well as the main stage action, fans can enjoy The Aperol Spritz “Hott in Here” Tent, 2FM’s Fergal Darcy and a huge Silent Disco. Tickets are available now from Ticketmaster.
AMY Dowden makes a sensational return to Strictly after her cancer treatment, taking centre stage in a quickstep with the other pro dancers.
Amy (34) has had the all-clear after being diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2023.
She is back for the 20th year of Strictly, and a “special, celebratory group dance” was choreographed to mark her return.
Amy performed the routine in a stunning gown the colour of the breast cancer pink ribbon, watched by husband Ben and her family at Elstree
Studios.
Amy said.
“I am so excited for every element of being back with my Strictly family. Everyone’s laughing at me because I am just smiling constantly. I’m buzzing.
“I’d like to dedicate this dance to my pink sisters who have supported me this past year and to all those currently facing cancer.” Strictly producer Sarah James said: “We are all so incredibly happy that Amy is back.” Choreographer Jason Gilkison said: “It was an absolute pleasure to choreograph this very special, empowering and strong routine.”
The launch show is tipped to be on BBC1 on September 14.
ROMEO Beckham stripped down to his €310 Versace swimming trunks last night as he did his best impression of his famous dad.
The Brentford player (21) was snapped sipping on a limited edition hot pink Stanley Cup while relaxing in a sauna. In scenes reminiscent of his father, the son of David and Victoria Beckham shot the camera a cheeky look as he supped on the special edition flask.
Like his old man, tattooed Romeo enjoys a spot of yoga to keep fit.
He posted the snap on Instagram for his fans accompanied by a yoga emoji.
