SINGER TEASES BOYZONE REUNION

-

RONAN Keating has teased Boyzone could be set to reunite for a special project – but has ruled out a reunion tour.

The pop star told Ok! Magazine that the band could be set to air a biopic on their global stardom.

Ronan rose to fame back in

1994 with Boyzone, before the group split six years later.

They made a comeback in 2007 but were hit by tragedy, when band member Stephen Gately passed away just two years after that, in 2009.

Reunited

In 2018, Ronan, Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch reunited for the first time as a quartet to mark 25 years since the beginning of Boyzone.

But asked if there might be a reunion in the future, father-of-five Ronan said: “There are no plans to perform with the band, but we do have something on the cards that is very exciting. I can’t say too much, though, it’s exciting and it’s an

BIG PLANS: Boyzone; (above) Ronan Keating issues warning to fans adventure.” Suggesting that the band may be putting together a biopic to look back at the last three decades of the group, he added that he’s on the hunt for old video clips, sharing: “We’re compiling some old content from old performances and have asked fans to send us their old footage.”

Warning

It comes in the wake of the singer issuing a warning to fans of fake accounts pretending to be him asking for people to provide them with personal details.

He said: “A lot of people are getting scammed on social media. People are setting up fake accounts saying that they are me.

“People are getting DM’d asking for money. I would never ask anyone for money. It’s not real. “Please unfollow these accounts and certainly don’t respond. “Thank you so much for following me and lots of love.”
