WE’VE seen the top baby names trending in recent months and now it’s over to pet-parents, who have chosen ‘Bailey’ as the country’s most popular dog’s name.
The top mutt-monikers have been revealed just in time for National Puppy Day today.

Today people all over the world will come together to honour these furry little creatures and raise awareness about the importance of adopting puppies from shelters and rescues.
Puppies are more than just cute and cuddly companions. And now, the pawsitively adorable and popular dog names list has been revealed with the name ‘Luna’ in a close second place while other popular names included ‘Teddy’, ‘Milo,’ ‘Rosie’ and ‘Bruno.’
The list of top dog names, compiled by Petmania, shows a rising trend for names as Gaeilge but names still on the list include Nala, Milo and Daisy.
Some of the Irish names include Eire, Luunagh, Fibi, Cu Chulainn, Crioa, Oraiste, Feirin, Oige and Samhain.
Food has inspired some fur-parents who have called their dog Donut, Biscuit and Toffee while Pepper, Fudge, Peanut, Cookie and Popcorn.
