KATIE Price appeared before a judge yesterday after being arrested at Heathrow airport and was warned: “It is quite a serious matter.”

The former glamour model appeared remotely before a judge just hours after being detained following her return from Turkey with a new €12,000 facelift.

She was due to spend the night in the cells after missing a previous bankruptcy hearing last month.

But a source said: “The fact she had a facelift and bandages on her head meant a cell wasn’t really suitable and she went home. The whole thing was farcical.”

Yesterday, wearing a black headstrap reality star Ms Price was told there would be “no ifs or buts” if she didn’t attend another hearing later this month.

Deputy Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Daniel Schaffer ordered her to give an “undertaking” to the court that she would attend a further hearing to face questions over her finances on August 27 at 10.30am.

At the specialist bankruptcy court at the Rolls Building in the City of London, he said: “These are undertakings to the court, meaning if you breach the undertakings in any way, shape or form, you will be brought back into custody. It is quite a serious matter.”

Judge Schaffer continued: “You have to attend that date, no ifs or buts, no going abroad, no holidays.”

Ms Price confirmed she understood and later insisted: “I will move my diary for it.”

She attended the hearing via a video link from an office of High Court enforcement staff at the Royal Courts of Justice nearby after arriving on foot yesterday afternoon.

Wearing a beige outfit and the black head covering, the 46-year-old was accompanied by another woman throughout the hearing, whom she described as an “appropriate adult”.

Ms Price was arrested at Heathrow on Thursday evening upon returning to the UK after a different judge issued a warrant on July 30 for failing to attend a previous hearing.

Members of the airport’s assistance team were seen pushing her son Harvey through the terminal in a wheelchair as his mother was arrested.

Ms Price was later seen sitting in a police van before applying lipstick and taking a few puffs of a vape.

Judge Schaffer discharged the arrest warrant at the end of yesterday’s hearing.

Ms Price asked whether she could attend the hearing later this month remotely as she said she finds it “difficult in a court”. She asked: “Am I able to do it by Zoom or in a side room?”

“No,” the judge replied, adding that she could apply to attend remotely and “it does not take Einstein to do it”.

Ms Price said that she did not have legal representation, telling the court: “I have tried to get legal advice but have been charged £50,000 upfront.”

The reality star added: “I can’t get legal aid because I earn. I don’t know what to do on this. I have been asking for legal representation and no one would do it.”

Ms Price was first declared bankrupt in 2019. In February this year, she was ordered to pay 40% of her monthly

WARNS PRICE OF CONSEQUENCES

income from the adult entertainment website Onlyfans to the trustee of her bankruptcy until February 2027.

She was made bankrupt for a second time in March over an unpaid tax bill of more than £750,000 owed to HM Revenue & Customs.

Ms Price had been due to face questions over her finances from barristers representing the trustee of both bankruptcies last month but she did not attend the hearing.

Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Catherine Burton issued an arrest warrant for Ms Price, claiming she received “very clear warnings”

she must attend court. The court was told it had been reported Ms Price had travelled to Turkey.

Judge Burton described the reason for her absence as “irrelevant” and claimed she had “no real excuse” for failing to attend.

She said while a warrant was not issued “lightly”, Ms Price had offered only “piecemeal co-operation” and failed to provide the “most basic information” about her bankruptcies.

At the same hearing, the judge ordered Ms Price to deliver six of her vehicles to the trustee of her bankruptcies, including a pink Range Rover. Ms Price insisted last week she was “not running from matters” and said she could not attend the hearing because she was filming.

She flew to Turkey for her sixth facelift on July 29 with her boyfriend, Married At First Sight contestant JJ Slater, 31. He was spotted yesterday heading to a car outside her home.

Ms Price dismissed recent claims she travelled to Turkey after being turned down by other surgeons.

She said: “The reason I’ve chose the Trio Clinic is because I’ve had friends who have had surgery there and in my opinion, they are the best for what I want doing.”
