Business Savings With Optimised Travel

-

Travel Counsellors Ireland launched in 2005 and has grown to be one of the most successful travel companies in Ireland. The business specialises in luxury leisure travel, and more recently launched the Travel Counsellors for Business brand, which represents onefifth of the overall business.

Ciara MacConnell, corporate business manager, based at the NSC in Mahon, says that any business that spends on overseas travel should use a travel management company to assist with costs.

“Whether you wish to reduce your travel spend, or make more sustainable choices, we work with you to ensure you’re travelling in a way that’s suitable for the needs and ambitions of your business,” MacConnell says. “We offer access to a suite of reporting tools to

help clients make data-led decisions and improve efficiencies.

“Our clients gain access to our preferred rates on flights, accommodation, rail travel and more. They also benefit from our experience, systems, and expert advice to make sense of their options and find the best value travel.

“Travel booking, account management, travel programme optimisation and carbon emission reporting are all managed by us. Immediate invoicing and reconciliation enable clients to track their spending and budgeting.”

MacConnell adds that each client company has a dedicated personal Travel Counsellor.

“We’re here whenever suits you, not the other way around,” she says. “We work hard to ensure that whatever happens in whatever time zone no traveller will be left stranded or expected to make their own arrangements.”
