On November 19, 2021, Chandrababu Naidu in an emotional speech as Leader of the Oppositon, announced that he was walking out of the House protesting against the unparliamentarily remarks made by YSRCP leaders against his family members. He told the House, “I am walking away from here and will enter the House as the chief minister of this state.”

Senior most legislators from Rajamahendravaram Assembly segment Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary as Pro-term Speaker had administered oath to the newly elected legislators. The TDP members came to the house carrying placards saying welcome to the August House and Democracy won, truth triumphed.

Chandrababu Naidu has become the only leader who took oath of the office as CM for the fourth term. Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Bhuvaneswari Devi on her X handle stated that truth has triumphed and democracy won. She posted videos of Chandrababu Naidu speaking in the house while staging a walk out in 2019. Along with she posted Chandrababu Naidu taking oath today.

Jagan entered the Assembly through the rear gate and entered the House only his name was announced to take the Oath. After taking Oath he went back to his Chamber. As is his wont he did not even wish the new CM and his colleagues.
