JALNA-MUMBAI VANDE BHARAT EXP INAUGURAL RUN SET FOR TODAY

First Vande Bharat Express for Marathwada, a highly anticipate­d train, is scheduled for its inaugural run today. The journey is set to signify the fourth Vande Bharat train to commence or conclude its route at CSMT.

This first Vande Bharat Express for Marathwada is all set to provide a big boost to tourism, trade and commerce, students, profession­als etc., and help improve the economy of the Marathwada region.

The inaugurati­on of JalnaCSMT Vande Bharat service from Ayodhya will be virtually flagged-off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Departing Jalna at 11 am, the train is anticipate­d to reach CSMT Mumbai by 6:45 am.

A grand welcome for the Express at various Central Railway stations including Manmad junction, Nashik Road, Kalyan junction, Thane, Dadar Central, and CSMT Mum- bai has already been planned. Distinguis­hed guests such as MPs, MLAs, guardian ministers, school students, and the public are all set to grace the inaugural service, operating as a special Vande Bharat train. Following today's inaugural run, regular service for the Jalna-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express is projected to start from today itself.

Departing Jalna at 5:05 am and arriving at CSMT at 11:55 am, the return journey will commence at 1:10 pm from CSMT, reaching Jalna by 8:30 pm.

This service will operate six days a week, excluding Wednesdays, with stops at Aurangabad, Manmad, Nasik, Kalyan, Thane, and Dadar stations in both directions.

Initial maintenanc­e will be carried out at Wadi Bunder (CSMT) until facilities are establishe­d at Jalna.

Today's event also includes the inaugurati­on of the redevelope­d Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station by Prime Minister Modi.

According to the sources, moreover, six Vande Bharat Express trains will be inaugurate­d, connecting various cities such as Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – New Delhi, Amritsar-Delhi, Coimbatore-Bengaluru, Mangalore-Madgaon (Goa), Ayodhya Dham-Anand Vihar Terminal (Delhi), and Jalna-Mumbai.
