RECIPE
●In a large mixing bowl, combine the 500g minced meat with 2 tbsp fat, 1 tsp fennel powder, dry ginger powder, ground cumin, ground coriander and salt to taste. Knead the mixture well and make small meatballs.
●Boil the meatballs in hot water until they are partially cooked. Set them aside.
Heat the mustard oil, add chopped onions and sauté them. Add the green cardamom, cloves and cinnamon stick and cook for another minute. Reduce the heat and add the whisked yoghurt.
●Add the Kashmiri red powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt.
●Add the saffron-infused water and mix well. Gently add the meatballs and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes, allowing the meatballs to absorb the flavours and become tender.
