Government transfers 13 IAS officials
CHENNAI: In a minor reshuffle, the state government on Thursday transferred about 13 IAS officials.
According to the Government Order issued by the Public Department, K Nanthakumar, Public and Rehabilitation Department is transferred and posted as Human Resources Management Department secretary in the place of S Nagarajan, holding additional charge.
“Brajendra Navnit is posted as Principal Secretary to the Commercial Taxes and Registration Department. Reeta Harish Thakkar, BC, MBC and Minorities Welfare Department secretary is transferred and posted as Public and Rehabilitation secretary replacing K Nanthakumar.
S Nagarajan, Welfare of Differently Abled Persons Department secretary and HRM secretary is transferred and posted as Finance (Expenditure) secretary in the place of J Kumaragurubaran, holding additional charge,” the GO read.
Sigy Thomas Vaidhyan will be the new secretary for Welfare of Differently Abled Persons department.
E Saravanavelraj is transferred and posted as Commissioner of Geology and Mining. C Vijayaraj Kumar is transferred and posted as BC, MBC and Minorities Welfare Department secretary. T Anbalagan is the new Director of Sugar and he shall also function as Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Sugar Corporation.
“GS Sameeran is placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Housing Board for appointment as its Managing Director. V Sivakrishnamurthy is placed at the disposal of Greater Chennai Corporation for appointment as its Deputy Commissioner (Works). Pooja Kulkarni is placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Development Board for appointment as its Chief Executive Officer,” the GO noted.
