Exciting is building up for an upcoming event that promises to be nothing short of extraordinary, a Gospel extravaganza concert aimed to inspire and uplift.

Happening at the University of the South Pacific Japan ICT Centre this Saturday (March 23) ‘Seasons: A Night of Praise’ promises to be a beacon of hope and a testament of what the power of music can do to change lives.

As Christians prepare to commemorate Holy Week, concert organiser Michelle Tevita-Singh said the entire show intends to provide artists, both gospel and mainstream, an opportunity to come in celebration of faith.

“We hope that this is a great lead up toward Easter, as we bring together artists from various denominations together for one night

only,” Michelle said.

“The Fringe Festival 2024 provided Savuto (Vakadewavosa) with the platform to present a show of which he decided to partner with M Media & Marketing to use it for ecumenicalism; to bring youths from various churches to be part of a choir for a 90-minute production of praise and worship.

“The concert is called ‘Seasons: A Night of Praise’ and is supported by Savuto, M Media & Marketing, the Pacific Conference of Churches, The Festivals Company, and CK’s Suva Bargain Centre.”

There would be entertainment from 12 solo artists from the likes of Eseta Cokanasiga of the Grace

Symphony group, Lusiana Rainima of the Sounds of Nations, The Fijian Tenor Justin Blake Hickes, Paulini Bautani, Temesia Tuicaumia and many others.

There will also be dance performances by the Nausori Interdenominational Youth Group (NIYG) and a choir of about 80 members made up of artists and the NIYG.

“Prepare to be inspired and uplifted as the artists share messages of worship, faith, and praise through their music,” she said.

“Each song is carefully chosen to touch the hearts of the audience and remind them of the power of God’s love and grace.”

Michelle also acknowledged the support of the Festival Company, Pacific Conference of Churches and CK’s Suva Bargain.

Tickets are selling for $30 for adults and $10 for children under 12.
