Although she wasn’t there for the beginning, Noah also praised Beyonce, joking she had been the one to inspire his departure from ‘The Daily Show’.
He said: “Beyoncé is nominated for her album Renaissance, which by the way, was better than anything from the actual renaissance in my opinion.
“The Renaissance was just pictures of grapes and stuff. Beyoncé took it to another level. I was so inspired by the lyrics of ‘Break My Soul’ that I actually quit my job.
“That’s how powerful that was. I just wish Beyoncé had also written a song about the importance of having savings before you quit your job, but maybe the next one.”

London - The publisher of Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper “apologised unreservedly” on Friday after London’s High Court ruled Prince Harry had been a victim of phone hacking and other unlawful information gathering by its journalists.
“We welcome today’s judgment that gives the business the necessary clarity to move forward from events that took place many years ago,” said a spokesperson for MGN, owned by Reach RCH.L.
“Where historical wrongdoing took place, we apologise unreservedly, have taken full responsibility, and paid appropriate compensation.”
The prince became the first senior British royal for 130 years to give evidence in court when he appeared as the star witness at a trial in June against Mirror Group Newspapers, the publisher of the Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror, and Sunday People, who he said had targeted him for 15 years.
The judge’s decision to award him £140,600 (around R2.3 million) and his conclusion that the papers’ editors and executives knew about the wrongdoing will be seen as a major victory for the prince.
Harry called for the authorities and the police to take action against those identified as having broken the law.
“Today is a great day for truth as well as accountability,” he said in a statement read by his lawyer, David Sherborne.

Former TS Records coowner Sbusiso “DJ Sbu” Leope following the death of musician Bulelwa “Zahara” Mkutukana has been at the receiving end of backlash on social media.
Ever since news broke, Zahara’s name has been trending along with DJ Sbu’s.
In 2019, Zahara revealed she had not been receiving royalties from her former record label TS Records and was owed millions by them.
DJ Sbu has denied the label owning her any money and has claimed it was actually the other way around.
Speaking to the SABC, DJ Sbu publicly spoke on his relationship with the late songstress who he helped turn into a star and acknowledged people’s anger towards him actors, sports stars, celebrities, and people who simply had a connection to high-profile figures, who have taken legal action over allegations of phone hacking and unlawful information gathering between 1991 and 2011.
Harry and three others were chosen as test cases, and the trial considered 33 articles of around 140 he alleged were the result of unlawful behaviour over 15 years from 1996.
“I found that 15 out of the 33 articles that were tried were the product of phone hacking of his mobile phone or the mobile phones of his associates, or the product of other unlawful information gathering,” Judge Timothy Fancourt said.
“I consider that his phone was only hacked to a modest extent, and that this was probably carefully controlled by certain people at each newspaper.”

because of the things Zahara alleged. “We had great moments; she was like my younger sister. Zahara’s album, you would find out the whole album was nice.
“People are blaming me; I understand the anger, as it’s a loss to us all, we lost someone we love.
“As a black person, I would like to pay so much condolence, stop talking about other things now and talk about it later.” He asked for the nation to remember her for the great artist that she was and lamented that TS Records did everything by the book. He did also acknowledge that he is open at a later stage, after mourning to revisit the situation with the family, and if need be, upon consultation with all parties involved do what is necessary.(IOL)
