Do you use a cordless electric toothbrush with an internal rechargeable battery? The nonprofit Call2recycle has some tips to extend the life of your electric toothbrush. First, don’t put the handle back in the charging dock every time you finish brushing. This can overcharge the already nearly full battery and cause it to wear out. Instead, use the brush until the battery life is significantly lower, and then give it a charge. And when the battery is dead, recycle the brush for free at any Call2recycle box.
