Each APP modular pack features a carbonkevlar-fiberglass construction, which provides an 80% weight savings over more traditional steel enclosures. This means each enclosure when filled with battery modules weighs a meager 230 pounds. Their flexible mounting configurations allow the packs to be mounted throughout the vehicle to improve weight distribution and as a result, vehicle performance.

The entire pack is actively cooled with automotive-grade quickrelease coolant connectors, which are available in either straight or 90-degree orientations depending on use case and mounting configuration. The modular system also has safety features such as a fused manual service disconnect, high voltage interlock capabilities, touch proof HV connectors, and venting units for degas flow.

Within the pack, a single module can store 18.2kWh of energy, 64kW of max power, and has an operating voltage range of 60-103 Volts. They also include an external 61-pin BMS connector for seamless connection to whatever BMS system the builder chooses to use. These modules are designed so that four of these modules can be connected in series to build a 73kWh, 96s, 400V battery pack compatible with most EV systems currently on the market.
