In May, during the annual KhaKha wa wa Dune Challenge, social media followers were taken on a breathtaking journey of how Mpale aka Palesa Molefe, former Miss World Botswana and Sibusiso Kgosikhumo, better known as Modise and I experienced the thrill, of the popular event. e episode is available on Youtube, and the general consensus from those who have watched it, is its authenticity. ey had camped with the family of Masego, who took them in as if she had always known them her whole life. Adding to the colour of their time in Khawa was their very own self- appointed butler, Jota who is a character that deserves their own story. She even made Diphaphatha for them. Seeing the guests interacting and living with Khawa residents, while also taking in the sights and sound of the famous village, almost tempts freshers in the Khawa Dune Challenge to pack their bags for the next excursion. is month, the team was at it again, showcasing the beauty of the Makgadikgadi to Botswana darling songstress, Mpho Sebina alongside social media in uencer, Natasha Palesa Kemonna. e two were joined by a man who is popular for his character on 1 Magic’s popular Telenovela, e River ( which recently aired its last season). e man is none other than Presley Chweneyagae, who played the character of Cobra aka Cobrizi, a man famous for his bombastic use of the Queen’s language. For this second episode, the guests were treated to a memorable experience at Orapa Mine courtesy of Debswana Diamond Mine, where they had the opportunity to learn about the world of mining, the business operations, the culture as well as safety measures in place. Seeing how most of us are familiar with both Cobrizi, and Sebina, we can bet that this is also going to be another epic episode.
