Martin Edwards writes the Rachel Savernake, Lake District, and Harry Devlin mysteries. The Life of Crime, a genre history, won four awards, including an Edgar. He has won the CWA Diamond Dagger, Dagger in the Library and the Golden Derringer for lifetime achievement in the field of short mystery fiction.

Tom Mead is a Derbyshire mystery writer. His debut novel Death and the Conjuror was an international bestseller and its sequel, The Murder Wheel, was described as ‘brilliant’ in a Publishers Weekly starred review and ‘a delight’ by the Daily Mail. His third novel is Cabaret Macabre.
