Asprawling Palm Springsinspired family home at Burleigh Waters offers buyers the chance to walk into a brand-new property without the hassle of building. Completed just weeks ago, 38 Honeyeater Drive overlooks Miami Lake and was constructed as the family home of builder Joe Bebek.

“We wanted to build something modern, yet beachy with amazing street appeal,” Mr Bebek said.

“And that appeal only gets better once you walk inside.”

Spanning two levels, the five-bedroom, four-bathroom home comes complete with a media room, study, and double garage along with a vast outdoor entertaining area, swimming pool, spa and firepit overlooking the water.

It features low maintenance gardens, 3m ceilings and an open plan layout, with a focus on indoor and outdoor living.

“It’s designed as a family home, but it’s definitely an entertainer’s paradise,” Mr Bebek said.

“It has these big doors that open up and recess into a cavity and all these different zones which lead to the central hub downstairs where the sitting rooms and loungerooms are connected.”

No expense has been spared in the property’s fit out and design, with the home boasting state-of-the-art finishes and a high level of attention to detail.

“Being a builder, it’s all high-spec and there are all these little surprises when you come and see it in person,” Mr Bebek said.

“In the study there’s a glass panel which is the colour of the wall, but a switch changes it to clear so you can see through into the house.

“There’s also a glass window in the pool where you can see into the firepit.”

Mr Bebek initially bought the land in 2019 after being drawn to its prime waterfront location. At that stage it was home to an older style house, which he and his family lived in as they meticulously planned their dream home. “It’s in a beautiful spot,” he said. “If you’ve got a tinny you can go fishing, and it’s just 900m as the crow flies to the beach.

“You can be riding along the beachfront in less than five minutes.”

The property’s lakefront position allows for stunning views across the water.

All the entertaining areas take in this vista, along with an upstairs bedroom and the master suite, which has its own private balcony.

“As soon as you walk in you can see the water,” Mr Bebek said.

“There’s views up and down the lake and there are the most beautiful sunsets.”

The property was seven months in the building phase and was completed only weeks ago but Mr Bebek said other opportunities had arisen and he and his wife had made the tough decision to sell.

He estimated in the current market it would take more than 12 months to replicate.

“It’s a great opportunity for someone to walk into a turnkey property that’s brand spanking new,” he said.
