> ROCK LEGENDS JET HEAD UP THE HUGE MUSIC LINE-UP FOR STREET MACHINE SUMMERNATS 37, JOINED BY ESKIMO JOE AND HOT DUB TIME MACHINE!
STREET Machine Summernats 37 will rock Canberra into the new year with two huge nights of live music on both Friday and Saturday. Friday night will be the big one for rock fans, with Eskimo Joe, Thirsty Merc and Jet (pictured) all hitting the stage. Thirsty Merc kicks things off at 8pm, followed by Eskimo Joe, and then Jet will close the night in true rock ’n’ roll style in what will be their Summernats debut.
Saturday night sees Hot Dub Time Machine, aka DJ Tom Loud, return, following an incredible performance at ’Nats 36 earlier this year. He’ll take music fans on another journey through some of the greatest hits of all time, covering all genres and eras as he does oh-so-well. “I had an epic time at Summernats 36, and I knew I had to come back. The event is wild, and I can’t wait!” Tom says. “I also want to see if my 1971 Datsun 1600 shows up. It was my first car and I sold it to a revhead legend who was doing it up, so I hope it does!”
Summernats co-owner Andy Lopez says it’ll be a line-up not to miss. “Friday at Summernats has become known as a proper rock show, and we’ve delivered on that with an awesome line-up of huge Aussie rock acts,” he says. “Jet, Eskimo Joe and Thirsty Merc would blow the roof off Exhibition Park, if it had one. Saturday night is party night, and Hot Dub Time Machine was so amazing last year that we had to bring him back. Four major Aussie acts at Summernats 37 will bring a hell of a party to Canberra.”
