SYDNEY TOP FUEL RESCHEDULED

WITH the weather turning a special kind of nasty ahead of the planned Xmas Showdown at Sydney Dragway at the start of December, the NDRC has rescheduled the event to the Australia Day weekend, merging it with the pre-existing event already taking place there. Beautly, that means everyone’s one-day pass has been converted into a two-day pass, so you now get to enjoy double the racing! If you already bought a ticket or entered, you should have received an email with instructions on how to either transfer to the January two-day event, or receive a refund if the new dates don’t suit you.

NEW CLOBBER

IF YOU’RE attending Street Machine Summernats 36, come and see us on our stand and check out these new ‘100% Street Driven’ shirts. Designed by our own Povi Pullinen, they are a limited-edition deal, so get in quick! Or just come and say g’day! We love to chew the fat with y’all.

NEXT!

HARD to believe, but 2024 is almost upon us, and we’ll kick the New Year off in style with a cracking January issue of Street Machine. Our cover car will be one of the Elite Hall debutants from Street Machine Summernats 36, and it’s one for the Ford fans. We’ll also present you with a gnarly blown and injected HG wagon (below), a staunch all-motor Ls-powered VK, and the Harrop-blown, big block-powered Toyota Crown from the champions at The Skid Factory. There’ll also be event coverage from the Junga Bunga no-prep meet at Warwick Dragway, Border Battle in Albury-wodonga, and even a peek into the world of Aussie drift culture. There’s all this, your favourite regulars and plenty more in the January 2024 issue of Street Machine, on sale 11 January!
