Of the above, rosella seeds will not thrive in cold temperate areas and it is best not to attempt to sow leeks in tropical and warm subtropica­l areas at this time. In cold temperate regions it is too late to attempt to grow capsicums, cape gooseberri­es, eggplant and tomatoes from seed.
